Linguistics is the science that studies human languages in all aspects of its expression: the sounds of speech, words, phrases, meaning, text, and discourse. It also studies language acquisition by infants, the speech of different social groups and the evolution of language throughout history.
On the pages of our site you will find information about our linguistic undergraduate and graduate program, in addition to clarifications about the research conducted by professors and students of the department.
Additional information can be obtained directly from the department’s secretary’s office.
